About Us
Free Range Games is a 20-man team that has worked together for the better part of a decade. Together, we have launched several big video games, including Spider-Man, Tony Hawk, Lord of the Rings, and Shrek.
Mission
In late 2009, we decided to explore new ways of making and distributing quality games. Our goal is to develop games out in the open, with our community, and evolve them organically. We can't help but to keep a high-bar in terms of graphics because our artists demand no less. That said, our focus is gameplay and letting people have fun with their friends. With Unity and the latest wave of affordable middleware, it has finally become possible to do just that. We aren't beholden to a marketing department or a publisher to make the least common denominator drivel that passes for games today, so we hope, over time, to create something really unique with our community.
